Here’s how it works:
1. We mail you a gift card, preloaded with $10.
2. You take the gift card to a participating store and “charge” it with the amount of money you plan to spend on groceries, fuel and medication for the week, month, etc.
3. You shop.
4. At the check out – you’ll swipe the gift card for payment.
5. Kroger sends the Autism Foundation of Tennessee 4% of every dollar you spend!
6. Keep reloading your card (up to $500 at a time) and use it every time you shop!

Gift cards can be used to buy groceries, merchandise, pharmacy orders AND fuel! Valid at thousands of Kroger Family Stores nationwide, including all Kroger, Ralphs, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, Smith’s, Fry’s, Dillons, QFC, City Market and Hilander locations!

What is a Kroger Cares card?
A Kroger Cares card is a debit card that you load with money to pay your bill at Kroger (or participating chains). This card can be reloaded again and again by you at Kroger.

Why use a Kroger Cares card?
Kroger will donate 4% of what you spend on your purchases to the Autism Foundation of Tennessee.

How do I use a Kroger Cares card?
This card is a debit card. After the cashier rings up your groceries, swipe the card at the register just like you would a credit card. And you can use it over and over again. When it gets low, add more money to it.

What can I buy with my Kroger Cares card?
Your gift card can be used for anything in Kroger stores, including gasoline, with the exception of services. Services include: money orders, Western Union, lottery tickets and TicketMaster.

Can I still use my Kroger Plus card?
Yes. You will still receive the usual discounts and gas points.

How do I recharge my Kroger Cares card?
You can add more money to your card at any register or at the Customer Service counter. You can use cash, check or a major credit card to load money on the Kroger Cares card. That means you can still accumulate points, airline miles, etc. by using your credit card. You may recharge your account for any amount up to $500.
